TRISTAN 2025 – 2nd Call for Participation – Submit now!

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the 2nd call for participation for TRISTAN 2025.  The Twelfth Triennial Symposium on Transportation Analysis (TRISTAN XII) will be hosted by the University of Tokyo, the University of the Ryukyus, and Tohoku University from June 22 to 27, 2025, at a venue offering a stunning ocean view (in-person only).
This esteemed symposium serves as a premier platform to present and discuss recent research and applications in transportation analysis and transportation science.

The submission site for the 4-page extended abstract already opened on August 1, 2024, and the submission deadline is October 15, 2024. We look forward to receiving your submissions and welcoming your participation.

The TRISTAN symposium has a long-standing reputation for its high scientific quality, promoting extensive interaction both during and beyond technical sessions, fostering a strong sense of community, and providing enriching and enjoyable social tours. The choice of a venue overlooking the beautiful sea further underscores our
commitment to creating an inspiring and memorable experience for all participants. We anticipate the gathering of some 150-200 academics, researchers, and practitioners from around the globe, who will engage in discussions on mathematical models, methodologies, and computational results. The symposium aims to facilitate the exchange of ideas on advanced applications and technologies in transportation, with a special emphasis on humanitarian transportation operations research and autonomous driving. This event promises to be an unparalleled opportunity for the transportation research
community to share insights, innovations, and to advance the field through collaboration and intellectual exchange in a setting that combines scientific rigor with natural beauty.

Three Distinguished Professors are scheduled to address us as plenary speakers.
   – Prof. Karen Smilowitz (Northwestern University)
   – Prof. Michel Bierlaire (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne)
   – Prof. Yafeng Yin (University of Michigan)
