We are please to announce that two Awards will be granted at EWGT 2024.
- Award in Memory of Prof. Yuval Hadas: The Bentley Education Award is presented in memory of Prof. Yuval Hadas, a distinguished senior faculty member in the Department of Management at Bar-Ilan University (Ramat Gan, Israel), and a key founder of the department. Prof. Hadas, who passed away unexpectedly on 16 February, was renowned for his research and contributions to public transport optimization, as well as his exceptional communication skills and dedication to the academic community. This award will be granted to the best paper in the field of public transport optimization and carries a prize of €1000. It is our way of honoring Prof. Hadas’ legacy and his invaluable contributions to the field.
- Trivector Award for Innovation and Sustainability: The Trivector Award recognizes outstanding contributions in the areas of innovation and sustainability. Sponsored by Trivector, this award will also carry a prize of €1000 and will be awarded to the best paper that demonstrates excellence and groundbreaking work in these crucial fields.
Both awards will be announced and formally presented during the closing session of the conference on 6th September.
